Who can join?
Membership is open to all Women in Aviation International members!
If you are a WAI member that lives near Charlotte, North Carolina (even if you live in South Carolina), we would love to have you join the First in Flight chapter!
How much does membership cost?
$40
Membership dues for the local First in Flight chapter is
$40 annually and due on September 1st.
Please Note: Chapter membership is separate from your Women in Aviation International (WAI) dues. It is your responsibility to ensure your WAI membership remains active and in good standing. Per WAI bylaws, only current WAI members are eligible to participate in local chapter activities. Failure to maintain your WAI membership may result in the loss of chapter privileges.
Why should I join?
Being a member of Women in Aviation and the First in Flight chapter gives you access to scholarships, conferences, events, networking opportunities, educational sessions, Women in Aviation publications, and much more!
The international organization offers around 100 different scholarships on an annual basis and the First in Flight chapter has additional local scholarships offered every year.
