First in Flight
The First in Flight Scholarship is dedicated to assisting an individual in the pursuit of achieving their aviation dream.

Dreams Soar
The Dreams Soar Scholarship supplements the cost of aviation equipment or flight training expenses.

WAI Conference
The two Conference Scholarships awarded provide full registration to the Women in Aviation International Conference.
Applicants are evaluated based upon merit, career aspirations, dedication, contributions to the community, First in Flight chapter involvement, and following the application directions.
Both members and non-members are encouraged to apply for our scholarships and will be evaluated based on the criteria outlined in the application. However, preference is given to applicants who have shown active involvement in the chapter—such as volunteering at or participating in chapter events, attending meetings, or demonstrating ongoing engagement with our community.
All applicants must be living, working, or studying within North Carolina or South Carolina. Awards are paid directly to the organization, university, college, flight school or program of choice. Applicants must use funds within one year of acceptance.
